Whose toll free number is this - 1 (800) 446-1022? They called me on my cell phone but I don't recognize it? They didn't leave any message and as far as I know I don't have any accounts that are delinquent or past due, so it shouldn't be a bill collector calling.

I always try to look up strange numbers from my call log online first. There are so many different scams and ways to bill you for things you don't want that you have to be safe. So does anyone know who this is calling me, and why?

I have another one for you: 855-823-3422. They began calling about a week ago. I simply won't answer, unless I know who it is.

That num belongs to HSBC

That line belongs to HSBC. This is one of their telemarketer lines. If they were trying to reach you at home then the caller id would have shown you their name. They were probably attempting to sell you something or add a new product or service to your account. If you ring the number back the automated voice will give you an option to have your number put on their internal do not call list. You should do it if you don't want to be contacted on your mobile any longer.
