Track a Cell Phone Number

Who hasn't needed to track a cell phone number down of someone at one point or another? There are all sorts of reasons for it; maybe you need to find a friend, maybe you need to meet up with someone or maybe you lost that slip of paper from that attractive woman or man at the bar last night.

Once, a while back, I really needed to track a cell phone number down in order to get a hold of someone so that I could get back my own mobile device, which I had foolishly left with him after his own blackberry's battery had died and he had asked to use mine in order to make a call to a lady friend of his. There was a small commotion and when it was over, I had lost sight of my friend and as I lost sight of him, I also lost my phone, at least for the time being.

As the man in question had only been left the phone because of a misunderstanding and no one seemed to be able to know where he had gone, the rediscovery of the blackberry was not an easy one; I tried to call my own number multiple times to no avail and it was only after this handful of phone calls that I realized that my own battery had died. Long story short, I finally did manage to find the number of the man in question and called him.

Because I was calling on an unknown number, he was quite a bit taken aback that I was able to track a cell phone number down for him. Though the conversation started out quite awkward, I was in the end satisfied with the conversation; after speaking about what had happened, we both realized the misunderstanding and worked together so that I could get my blackberry back as soon as possible.
