Reverse lookup to locate a family member

by Anonymous
(USA)

I have used a people search reverse lookup to locate a family member in the past. This was a relative I have not seen for many years. I have not had any productive results from these searches.

When I search I am able to locate the person and I can see verified previous addresses, however, when I pay for the information to obtain updated addresses and telephone contact numbers they are never accurate. I feel as though these sites use public knowledge so their information looks real and valid, but they are not able to produce records that others cannot find. I would not recommend these sites to others in the future.

I have also used phone search services and I find that these can be helpful in identifying creditors and telemarketers who call your phone. I would recommend these sites to others because they have been helpful to me in the past, but there is no need to pay for this information. I do not know whether phone search services work well with residential listings, as I believe it would be hard to locate an individual based on their cellular number because they may not be the account holder. Because of this I feel as though several phone numbers could yield one persons name and leave the other name you may be looking for out of the results. I hope this has been helpful, thank you.

Never leave out facebook or myspace
by: Anonymous

If you are looking for a long lost relative then you have to check out facebook. You never know how much you can find by just searching a last name and city. It may take some time to sift through all of the names but you may just find who you are looking for. A half sister I didn't know I had found me through myspace.com

Try Old neighbors too
by: Anonymous

Don't forget to ask old neighbors that used to love next door or on the same block. A lot of times they keep in touch or at least they may know where they moved initially after they left the first address you had for them. You would be surprised how nosy neighbors are and what information they will be able to give you.

Intellius and Usssearch are the best
by: Theresa

I can agree with you up to a certain point. I have paid for reverse lookup information in the past and gotten information that was very outdated and inaccurate. But I discovered that just like there is a difference between a prime rib roast and ground beef, there is also a major difference in paid people and phone search providers.

I have never had a problem with Intellius.com and USSearch.com. They have either had exactly what I was looking for or information so close to my request that I was able to "connect the dots" or figure it out for myself. On the other hand reversephonedetective.com was a complete waste of time and money for me. I would not recommend anyone to use their service.
