When I was in my mid thirties, my marriage to my husband of ten years was falling apart. I felt like things were just not right, but I couldn’t figure out why. I tried many times to talk to my spouse about our relationship issues, but he was very distant. Normally he was not so close-mouthed with me, so this brought up some red flags with me.

I decided to really pay attention to the things he was doing in case something just wasn’t right. If you were wondering, that is how to tell if your husband is cheating? After about three months of really keeping tabs on him, like asking where he was going and making sure that he actually did go to the destination, I realized he may have been having his friends lie for him.

I decided to check his cell phone one time when he was taking a shower. I found text messages that had been hidden, and they were from another woman. The two of them were clearly seeing each other for over five months. I decided to confront my husband with what I found. He admitted to everything, he really couldn’t get out of it since I had the texts right in front of him. He apologized over and over, but I am not the type to forgive that kind of betrayal.

I divorced him two months later. There were no children involved, so it was fairly easy for me to cut the ties. I realized through this experience that no one should feel that things just aren’t right in a relationship. If those feelings exist, there is most likely something wrong. I have since learned to immediately trust my instincts. In my opinion, THAT is how to tell if your husband is cheating.
