Free People Search Alternative to Phone Books

Rather than using a phone book, I use a free people search to find people I need to call, particularly when the people I want to call are living outside of my town. I don't believe I have used a phone book to look up people in years, since the online search works so well for me.
The free online people search is generally at least as accurate as a phone book, but there are added features a phone book does not provide. For example, the online search includes the person's address with zip code where as I have to look up the zip code separately when using the yellow, white or super pages. I can even get a map to the person's location which is another advantage.
It's a lot faster to type a name into a search box than it is to page through a large periodical that is only updated once a year! Another advantage is that you can make the font on a computer into something readable, much bigger than the small font in the printed version.
Sometimes I don't find the person's phone number using the search, but most of the time I do. I suspect that if I were looking in a phone book I would have the same problem since many people keep their number unlisted/nonpublished, or they list their phone under another a different name from the one by which I know them.
Overall I would say that the online search for people and phone numbers is a lot easier and much more convenient than using a paper phone book. This is how to run a reverse lookup in the 21st century.
