I have needed to find out a cell phone number owner. My younger brother was using my mother's mobile phone without her knowledge.

One night, she received a very disturbing text message regarding my brother. The person texting my mother's cellular was insinuating that my brother was selling drugs and that they were interested in buying. We attempted to call the number the text message came from and when the caller answered, noticing that it wasn't my brother, they hung up and would send our calls to voicemail. We tried texting him back, but the person would not respond.

When we confronted my brother in regards to the call, he refused to tell us where the caller lived. I attempted to find out a cell phone number owner on my own because he would not cooperate. I used various sites to run a check for the tn. I did a search on Google.com for websites that provided a reverse address lookup and was given Whitepages.com. However, the site did not help because the results would only list the town the account was opened in.

While doing this search, I decided to enter our house number and was amazed to see our address, as well as a satellite image of our home pop up. They listed my parents names, dates of birth, and my father's place of work! I was very disappointed with the outcome of the mobile search, but was surprised at the fact that with our home number, anyone can have sensitive information regarding our family. Although I was very angry at the person sending the text messages to my mother's phone, I was more angry at my brother for giving out my mother's line in the first place.

It may sound like a silly problem, but I'm sure that with all the inappropriate texting, sexting, and inappropriate picture messages being sent, other parents would love to have a service where you can find out a cell phone number owner. But I still don't think that all of the information this website provided should be made public to everyone.
