Find a Friend's Phone Number

I used several people searches online to find a friend’s phone number. He was a friend I had not talked to for one and a half years and not seen for two. We were close. So close, we almost got engaged. A re-location separated us. I needed to find his phone number bad.

The last time I had talked to him was a disaster. I no longer had his number because I was so mad at him. The only way I knew I could find him was the internet. I did several phone searches like Yellowbook.com. I only knew he lived in Maine and his full name. I didn’t know where in the state he resided. So, I punched in his name and crossed my fingers. I found that a lot of people had his name…I didn’t think it was that common. Hundreds of people were listed!

Where do I start? Then I narrowed the search by adding in his mother’s name. That was a hit. I called. He had passed away a few months before. I was crushed. But, the phone search worked. I found him. Just not in the state I wanted. However, I did have a moving conversation with his mother.

It was worth the time spent investigating. Now I have closure.
