I have needed to find a cell phone number by owner name before. It was for a member of a group that I was working in at work. It was early in the time that I was going to spend with the group and we had yet exchange numbers.

He was needed at an urgent meeting with our supervisor and we were all skating on thin ice if he didn't get there. The first things that we tried was to get a hold of him through a landline, but all we could find out was that he wasn't at his house and his roommate said that he had left a few hours before. One of the searchers found the number and we tracked him down. He had forgotten about the meeting but was only a few minutes away so there was little delay he got there.

It was great that he arrived for the meeting and we all didn't get thrown out on the street right away (he didn't a month later, his memory for meetings with supervisors never improved). The problem was that the added stress on the group members to complete the search really reduced the quality of the proposal that we gave, hurting the business.
