Find a Cell Number for Business.

There was one time that I desperately needed to get a hold of a work associate and he would not pick up his office extension. I know he had a cell phone however I did not have the information.

First, I called a few other co-workers to ask if they knew his mobile number however I did not have any luck. The emergency situation at work called for immediate action and I needed to contact the individual as soon as possible. I turned to the Internet to see if I could find the information that I was looking for. I searched his name and city of residence and after sifting through several pages of unusable information I came across his LinkedIn account.

I was so excited that I was able to find a cell number for business purposes! I dialed the number and we ended up working on the problem together. We eventually solved the issue and I was sure to program his cellular phone number into my mobile. I also created a list of work phone numbers to share with other associates at the company so a similar problem could be avoided. I have to admit that I was very frustrated at all of the unusable information that came up when I searched for my co-worker's information.

There are obviously a number of websites that exist that are looking for people that are in a situation similar to mine and they are hoping that you will pay for the information. There were websites that offered the ability for me to do a background check, explore his criminal history, and find his current address. All I needed was a simple telephone number! It was a relief to see that my co-worker posted his cellular on LinkedIn because I honestly don't know what I would have done if I would not have found it.

If I could give some simple advice to new hires at a company it would be to program any important contacts into your personal phone in case of an emergency. You never know when you might need to find a cell number for business associates and purposes in a pinch!
