Android App Reverse Telephone Search

I have used many Android app reverse telephone search options to search for people using applications such as Facebook mobile, Myspace mobile. I have also used people search engines on the internet to find long lost friends or investigate people I have just met in order to find out more about them, an example of an on line search website would be www.pipl.com.
Most of the time using the Android app reverse telephone search methods listed above I have been able to find some information about the person I was looking for although there have been instances where this information was incorrect. The reasons I used the search engines was to find out where the people I knew were living and or what I needed to know about people I just met to judge if they were a trustworthy person, or were involved in any kind of lifestyle I did not approve of.
I did not pay any amount to use the services listed above and I doubt I would because like I said I have had misinformation given to me from the sites in the past. I might be willing to try a "try before you buy" service although I much rather use it on a home computer than a mobile phone. I feel as if mobile phones store too much personal information as it is, and if you were to lose it you could be in some trouble with your personal information in the wrong hands.
Therefore, if you used an Android app reverse telephone search on your phone and lost it the other persons personal information would be stored in the history of the web browser on your phone or in your mobile app, also leaving them open to whatever may happen with your personal information. Although I feel the impact on them would be far less, the internet and the mobile web are good tools for looking up information, but they can be misguiding. I also feel they might provide potential for identity theft.
